Post conference blues and machinations continue to be food for speculation today. The NRA makes a small concession in suggesting that the legal status of devices (so-called bump-stops) that convert semi-automatic rifles into machine guns should be reconsidered.

Large setback for the UK today as US joins forces with Australia, New Zealand and Brazil in countering the EU-UK proposal to share out agricultural food impost quotias as presented to the WTO. The idea was to avoid a free for all for the access to the UK agricultural sector after Brexit.

Highlight of my day was the trip to Streamline imaging to pick up the stereoimages that I had produced for the Quekett exhibition in London on Saturday. Had a fascinating conversation on photos of the last days of steam and current 100 mph Tornado, the steam train built from scratch and therefore capable of running at speeds expected of current locomotives on the rail network. This was followed by meeting an artist who specialised in equine painting and a photographer  who worked in portraiture and reportage.

Rounded off the day at the Milton Artists and Craftists, dabbling with pen and ink, and enjoying the conversation and Jaffa cakes, from one of the last 12 cake packs as the new smaller pack takes over in the shops.
